The Grouchy Ladybug Activity Pack

The Grouchy Ladybug Activity Pack, inspired by the beloved book by Eric Carle.

This resource is designed to support children’s literacy and time-telling skills through hands-on activities that complement the story.

What’s Included:

1. Story Sequencing Cards-- 

   1. Cut out two sets of the images. Hot glue them to a popsicle sticks to one set and let the children use them as props while listening to the story.

   2. Use the second set to match events to the clocks they occurred in the story. 

   3. Additional ideas: have children arrange them in the order they happened in the story.

2. Telling Time Matching Game- 

   1. Children match clocks specific to times to the animals the ladybug meets throughout the day.

3. Story Sequencing Activity Sheet- 

   1. Children cut out and glue the cards onto the activity page in the correct sequence.

4. Grouchy to Friendly Sort--

   1. Children cut out and glue behavior cards onto the activity page in the correct emotion.

5. Friendly Flyer Certificate-

   1. Reward each child with a certificate to celebrate their participation.
